Hello and welcome to Premtalk, where we talk about the latest in the English Premier League.
Looking back:
Matchday 7 was an eventful group of games with lots of unprecedented results. Wolves won against the table leaders, Manchester City, 2-1. Chelsea won against Fulham 2-0 with Mykhailo Mudryk scoring his first goal in the Premier League since he signed with Chelsea last year. Aston Villa completely destroyed Brighton winning 6-1, with Ansu Fati scoring for Brighton in the 50th minute. Crystal Palace won against Manchester United 1-0. Tottenham against Liverpool ended 2-1 with Tottenham winning after some controversial decisions were made in the VAR room which caused Liverpool’s first goal to be ruled offside, despite some mixed opinions. As of matchday 7, Tottenham and Liverpool remain as the only two undefeated teams in the Premier League. Later a statement was released by PGMOL stating that there were human errors involved with the decision and that they will be reviewing the decisions made during the match. Not only was there an error with the offside decision there were also some interesting decisions to give red cards to Liverpool's Curtis Jones, and Diogo Jota.
As It Stands:
Man City still leads the table but at a one-point margin to Tottenham (2nd) and Arsenal (3rd) after they lost against Wolves. Liverpool drop down to fourth but they aren’t far behind, being only two points behind Man City. Brighton dropped to sixth after they lost to Aston Villa, they are now in fifth place. Chelsea, after their 2-0 win against Fulham are in eleventh, just one point behind the other team with a disappointing start to the season, Man United (10th). Burnley, Bournemouth, and Sheffield United are all in the three relegation spots at the bottom of the table.

TDM’s Top Match:
The match that I think will be most entertaining is Arsenal vs Man City because both teams had a very close fight last season to be crowned Premier League but Man City won it at the end even though Arsenal were 8 points ahead on matchday 29.
That’s all for this edition of Premtalk, we’ll see you after Matchday 8!
