“I got this shark tooth necklace on an expedition in a South African river close to the Indian Ocean. Sharks cross through and get stuck inside the river so there are sharks, crocodiles and hippos. And on that river, well, the guide stuck out his arm then a shark jumped into the boat and bit his arm off. And then the shark lost his teeth because it wasn’t a very big shark, only two meters long. So I collected the tooth and gave it to a local merchant so he could make it into a necklace. Yeah, that’s how I got the shark tooth around my neck.”
